Our tools are kitted in the U.S. Army’s Peculiar Ground Support Equipment – Deployment Support Kit and our RUPHIS blade clamp handling systems have been identified as the primary tool for removing and installing main rotor blades on the UH-60 Black Hawk and CH-47 Chinook helicopters.
We are always looking for ways to enhance safety and efficiency, and have worked with OEM’s, Program Management Offices and Maintenance Crews to explore new applications, design new tools, and rapidly deliver solutions whenever and wherever they are needed.
McNally Industries partnered with the US Army Blackhawk Program Office to transition the Rotor Universal Positioning Handling Integrated System (RUPHIS) from design to market. The RUPHIS Blade Clamp tool improves maintenance efficiencies while ensuring maintainer safety. McNally leveraged the experience and success of RUPHIS to deliver the Big RUPHIS for CH-47 Chinook support and maintenance. McNally has delivered over 500 RUPHIS/Big RUPHIS Blade Clamps to our Services and their Allies around the world.
